Cooking Instruction
For me, the benefit of culinary school was that I felt confident enough to whip up a meal without looking at a recipe. I can devote most of the day in your home to help you feel comfortable with ingredients and to incorporate it with several recipes. We can improvise a few meals with a trip to the farmer’s market, prepare an entire 4-course dinner, or simply work on techniques that can speed up prep time and enhance the quality of your meals. The content will be up to you and I will guide you every step of the way.
Pricing
1-2 individuals starts at $50/hour with a 3 hour minimum
3 or more starts at $50 per person

Fish Preparation
Ever wondered how to clean, filet, and dress fish? We can work on a whole fresh round fish and a flat fish. I will teach you everything from taking a whole fish, getting it cleaned and ready for cooking. The remnants can be used to prepare a fish stock which I can show you. We will cook it in several ways such as deep-fry with batter, pan-fry, and baking.
Chicken Served 5 Ways
Carving a chicken into 10 pieces can be a challenge, but once I show you this skill you’ll be an expert with any bird especially during the holidays. Then, we’ll take the 10 pieces and create five different recipes and different cooking methods such as:
Cooking with Wine
Cooking with Herbs
Fried Chicken
Marinating Chicken
Baking Chicken
Grilling Chicken (if grill is available)
Cooking With Wine
If you really appreciate wine, why not learn how to cook with it? We’ll cover a 4-course meal using wine as an ingredient for an appetizer, soup, entrée, and dessert.
Simple Sauces
Sometimes an entrée may be missing a simple ingredient….the sauce. This lesson can teach you the basics of preparing “The Mother Sauces." Once you learn the basics then you’re well on your way to create a multitude of delicious meals.
